The Foundation is a non-profit legal entity for private benefit within the meaning of the Law on Non-profit Organizations.

Who is Krustyu Tsonchev?
The eminent Bulgarian lawyer, scientist, advocate and legislator Krustyu Tsonchev was born in 1910 in the town of Kiev. He was born in 1910 in Sofia. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Sofia University "St. In 1933 he graduated from St. Kliment Ohridski University. He was a part-time associate professor at the Department of Civil Law of the Faculty of Law of Sofia University "St. Professor of Law at St. Kliment Ohridski University. His scientific career was interrupted for political reasons. He was vice-president of the Association of Comparative Law at the Union of Jurists in Bulgaria.
Krustyu Tsonchev was a long-standing lawyer and an exceptionally gifted legal writer. Among his first significant works was the monograph Liability of a Third Party for the Breach of a Foreign Law of Obligation (1940), followed by the study Contribution to Tort Liability for the Acts of Others (1945-1946). Later, there also appeared 'Contribution under Article 12(2) of the Inheritance Act' (1971), 'Improvements' (1972), 'Simulation in Civil Law' (1974), 'Judicial Partition' (1985) and 'Contract of Gift' (1988).
